Making Sex Safe: The Real Facts
The Body: Mixed-Status Couples - Articles. Collection of articles addressing the needs of magnetic couples, including safer sex, counseling and testing, and safe conception.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Home HIV Testing.  The basics on HIV testing at home. 
OraQuick In-Home HIV Test.  At-home rapid HIV testing kit.  The testing procedure involves swabbing your mouth for an oral fluid sample and using a kit to test it. Results are available in 20 minutes.  Available at multiple pharmacy chains and other retail outlets, as well as online.

PrEP: The Basics
PrEP for Sex.  New York State Department of Health PrEP page.  Includes basic information, questions and answers, and resources. 
Where to get PrEP and PEP in New York City.  From the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. 
Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Assistance Program (PrEP-AP).  This program, run by the New York State Department of Health, provides financial assistance to cover patient health care and laboratory costs that are part of PrEP.
Swallow This.  PREP information from Harlem United. 
What is TRUVADA for PrEP?   Basic information from Gilead, makers of PREP. 
Project Inform: PrEP.  Includes a tool that help individuals get connected to PREP care, PrEP medication and patient assistance programs and copay programs, provider directories, and videos.

New York State Department of Health: Uninsured Care Programs.   Find out how the NYS Department of Health can help you pay for pay for medications, medical care, or health insurance.
New York State Department of Health: HIV Special Needs Plans.  Provides information about special  Medicaid options for those living with HIV/AIDS. Link to an HIV specialist primary care provider, HIV care coordination services, treatment adherence services, and other specialty services.  Also HIV prevention and risk reduction education for HIV negative members.
Deciding about Health Care: A Guide for Patients and Families.  Includes information about the Family Health Care Decisions Act, which allows a patient’s family member or close friend to make health care decisions for a patient who is in a hospital or nursing home, if the patient lacks decisional capacity and did not leave prior instructions or sign a health care proxy.
New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene: HIV Services Directory.  Find a wide range of HIV-related services in your area, including (but not limited to) case management, harm reduction, home care services, housing assistance, legal services, mental health services, and more
